Welcome everyone to the year of 2016! Iron Range Makerspace (IRM) is hoping to make 2016 a very eventful year for us. To start, IRM is going to be hosting a Maker Meet Up. This event has two main purposes: to get people involved with creating the makerspace in ways such as idea generation and volunteer opportunities, and to identify who day one members will be. At this point in time, IRM is asking what times are going to work best for our community. The location of the meet up will be in Hibbing, MN. The window of opportunity for IRM is between 5pm and 10pm weekdays or anytime on the weekends. The meeting will likely last 1 hour and content will include introductions, what has been done thus far, financial status/needs, and the plan for the future. Please message us with what day of the week and time would work best for you, and then we will schedule our first Maker Meet Up based on what people say!!!

Tuesday's or Thursday's after 5:00 for a meeting. That time would allow for no football games in the evening and no church activities. Maybe think about 6 or 6:30 to allow people to get off work and eat before attending. Looking forward to being there. Thanks again

Agreed Barb, we will start communicating it more outside of the digital community.
